My Daughter plays Lego Star Wars on the XBox 360. I've been playing Star Wars Battlefront II on the XBox One. I've already checked out The Last Jedi a few nights ago. I'm also willing to broadcast my ass getting kicked on Battlefront II online on Mixer!
Broadcasting is a new thing for me. I started doing it on Mixer when I was comfortable enough to play Gears of War 4 Horde in front of an "audience." Although I am still somewhat new at Battlefront II, I go line from time to time and allow people to see me getting blown away on Galactic Assault.
I prefer playing on Starfighter Assault only because it seems easier to hunt the opposition and shoot them down in a ship as opposed to being on foot. My only gripe about this game's multiplayer modes is that it seems as if it will take forever to level up and play a bigger role on the battlefield.
The arcade and campaign modes are satisfying for introverted gamers like myself. There are plenty of times I really don't feel like playing online with other players and just want to have a shoot out with the Artificial Intelligence.
Episode XIII was good, but it could have been better. I was expecting a little more character development after a two year wait, but my thirst for space battles and light saber duels has been quenched until 2019. I plan to take my oldest daughter with me to see it for a second time just to pick up on a few things I missed.
Although I haven't completely abandoned Gears of War 4, I am spending all of my time getting better at Battlefront II. Although I am classified as an anti-social gamer, this game makes me comfortable jumping into a massive online battle with people around the country. There is no shame in getting blasted away over and over again as long as you are having fun.
